Our client, a leading international IT company with a significant footprint in public and private sectors across Europe, is seeking a talented Sr. System Architect (Identity & Virtualization) to work for a renowned EU Project based in Brussels, Belgium. EuroTalent IT is assisting them in this exciting search.

• Work model: Hybrid (3 days on-site/ 2 remote);
• Contract: contractor (freelancer/ B2B).
• Length of the initial contract: Long-term need. Expected 3 years contract + renewals.

Tasks:

• Identity & Access Management: Own and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) activities, supervising complex Active Directory environments.
• Core Network Services: Administer and optimize critical core infrastructure services, including GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Windows Server 2016 environments.
• Migration & Deployment: Lead and execute system migration activities moving legacy environments toward the Quest toolset.
• Environment Management: Build, configure, and maintain staging/acceptance environments precisely aligned with production standards.
• Virtualization & Projects: Administer Hyper-V clusters and VMware virtualization environments while actively driving cross-domain infrastructure projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide advanced operational troubleshooting, network login/authentication support for delegations, and collaborate closely with Linux, Server, and Monitoring teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or other relative discipline.
• 12 years of proven working experience in the Infra and System administration domain.
• Directory Services & Security: Deep technical knowledge of Active Directory environments and enterprise Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Systems & Networking: Strong proficiency in Windows Server 2016 administration, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
• Virtualization: Practical experience managing and troubleshooting Hyper-V clusters and VMware environments.
• Automation & Tools: Strong PowerShell scripting skills for environment management, with specific experience in Quest migration tools highly valued.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Experience working alongside multi-disciplinary infrastructure domains (Linux, hardware server, and network monitoring teams).
• English level B2/C1 level.
